With great joy and a cultural waste, the merchants of the 8 capital markets launched the discount festival "Everything with Love, Everything for Love in Victoria and Hope", this Friday, January 8.
More than 20 thousand merchants from the capital markets will join forces this 2021, to maintain for the third consecutive year the festival of permanent discounts that, in addition to offering affordable and solidarity prices in the products of the basic basket and seasonal products, boosts the economy of the country.
"To congratulate the effort that has been made by merchants in these three years in the launch of the festival of permanent discounts in the eight markets of Managua," commented the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado.
Likewise, Rueda said that this year the administration will invest 14 million 612 thousand, 443 cordobas in the 8 markets, through the Annual Investment Plan in road improvement projects, storm drainage, waterproofing of floors (concrete slab), improvement and replacement of roof structure, transfer and construction of solid waste collection.
It should be noted that parallel to this investment, the 2021 Streets for the People Program will invest an additional 20 million córdobas in the repair of the most damaged streets in the Mayoreo, Oriental, Huembes and Roger Deshon markets, as was announced by Mayor Rueda.
Among the works to be carried out is the total replacement of the roof in two markets in the capital, in the seafood area of Israel Lewites and Huembes in its fifth stage. The replacement of the storm drainage in Roger Deshon in its second stage, in addition to the construction of two new solid waste stockpiles, one in the Mayoreo and the other in the Leonel Gutiérrez or Candelaria market and the construction of gutters in the Oriental.
For her part, the merchant Rosa Guerrero invited families from the capital to visit this shopping center, "We have discounts on all our related products prior to the opening of the school year."
