At the end of the December festivities and welcoming the new year, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua made an artistic presentation on the Epiphany of the Lord, with the staging of the Three Kings.
This activity took place, in the area of the light source of the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park, where a children's afternoon was developed and the staging of the first Epiphany of the Lord, where the children received candies from the Magi and they enjoyed the artistic presentation together with the families, who took photos with the pastoral that represented the encounter of the Magi with the Child Jesus, which were performed by the folkloric ballet Haydée Palacios.
Comrade Griselda Rivas, Director of Culture of the Municipality, said that this activity culminates the Christmas day with the Pastorelas, attached to our national identity.
For her part, the teacher Haydée Palacios, made a presentation on the staging of the Epiphany of the Lord and thanked the Good Government for the support of culture, through the promotion of our traditions, also explained that the Nicaraguan pastorela represents the Christmas tradition of yesteryear in our country.
