The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado held a virtual meeting this morning, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and Twinning with the authorities of the Local Government of the city of Tehran, capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran, with the aim of exchange technical, scientific and cultural cooperation ties between both cities.
“It is really a historical twinning with the city of Tehran, let us remember that we are united by very strong ties of friendship and cooperation, we are two twin revolutions, therefore, for us it is of utmost importance because there will be both cultural and cultural development and exchange. experience in the development of our city, planning, important issues in which they have extraordinary experience ”, he commented.
He added that it is the first time that an agreement has been signed to work both cities, which will allow the Mayor of Managua advice and training for technicians in planning urban development projects.
“We are motivated by the signing of this twinning because it will lead to development in specific issues, especially in the planning of our projects. Efficiency and effectiveness have always been one of our principles as the municipal government and Mayor of Managua, but most importantly it is the friendship that we have historically ”, he added.
