In a festive atmosphere, the Municipality held on December 13, the final of the contest "the Cleanest and Most Beautiful Fritanga" of the capital city in its seventh edition, in the Luis Alfonso Velásquez Flores park.
The winner of the first place of the contest was obtained by "Janixia Grill Todo en Asados" from District IV of Managua, with a 92.60 percent preference and received his prize of 20 thousand córdobas; in second place was the “El Buen Pastor” food restaurant of District VII, with 87 percent and obtained 15 thousand córdobas and third place was the fritanga “Altamira” with 86 percent, obtaining 10 thousand córdobas.
The awards ceremony was chaired by the Vice Mayor of Managua, colleague Enrique Armas Rosales, who, prior to the final verdict, made a tour of the stands of the participating fritangas, to confirm compliance with good habits in food preparation, the flavor of the dishes, as well as the proper handling of the typical waste of these gastronomic ventures.
“It has been the most contested contest of all and it has raised the profile of the fritangas enormously. The fritangas are cooking like a movie, they have excellent service, and the best, abundant food, ”said Armas, adding that most of the ventures are family businesses.
Janixia Ruiz, expressed her happiness at achieving first place in the contest, “we are very excited, thank you very much to God in the first place and to our clients for their support. Very grateful, ”he said.
In this event, Mister Fritanga was also chosen, the winner being the young Humberto Enmanuel Corea from District VII of the Capital, who won 4 thousand córdobas.
