This morning the merchants of the Oriental market announced discounts and rebates on all the products of La Purísima and the Christmas season, so they invited families to visit them, so that they could buy their products at the lowest prices.
The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, visited the Oriental market and noted the rhythm of sales and the commercial dynamism resulting from the payment of the Christmas bonus to state workers. Families have acquired in advance all the articles of the December festivities with discounts, promotions and sales.
"That is why we invite families, here we save, help the family economy, all the products that we are going to use both to celebrate our Blessed Mother and for our Christmas gifts," he said.
For their part, merchants have supplied their sections with a variety of items to deliver in the La Gritería toast and to share with families on Christmas Eve toys, ornaments, accessories, clothing, footwear, among others.
Diana Chávez, a merchant in one of the various plastic goods stores, pointed out that she offers cheap and good quality toys to the people of Managua.
Mayor Rueda highlighted that the merchants together with the Municipal Market Corporation of Managua (COMMEMA) and the National Police develop joint efforts to guarantee the public safety of the buyers and sellers of the 8 municipal markets of the capital city.
