In the extraordinary session number twenty of the Managua Council, the General Budget of Income and Expenditure corresponding to the year 2021 was discussed and approved, which has an estimated amount of 6 thousand 705 million 495 thousand 78 Córdobas.
This budget was built in consensus with the community in the district councils where the proposals of the residents were received, through the model of Citizen Power and Direct Democracy, exercised by Good Government, to guarantee better living conditions for capital families. , through the transformation, modernization and beautification of our capital city.
In this extraordinary session, Mayor Reyna Rueda said that with this municipal budget, 417 projects will be executed in 2021, in their different components such as improvement of the road network, storm drainage, decoration, water and sanitation; Likewise, it was detailed that the 2021 Streets for the Town Program plans to serve 787 new blocks, increasing the projection that was established in this year 2020, which was 737 blocks.
Similarly, in this extraordinary session, the proposal for the second modification of the General Income Budget of the Mayor of Managua and its Annual Investment Plan, corresponding to the year 2020, was passed to the economic commission.
