This Saturday, October 17, the merchants of the Iván Montenegro market commemorate the heroic deed of the Indigenous, Black and Popular Resistance of our country, with a special fair called "Fair of Indigenous Resistance."
The fair will be held in the southern bay of the market, on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18, during these two days merchants will have promotions and discounts on all perishable products, basic food basket, clothing and footwear.
The Iván Montenegro market has 350 temporary traders and 1,691 permanent traders for a total of 2014 traders, its most important business activity is the sale of dairy products such as cheese, cream, cheese, wholesale and retail.
This market is popularly known as "The King of Cheese" and has an influx of 3,000 to 4,000 people daily.
