The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua announces the XII Municipal Contest of Altars in honor of the Immaculate Conception of Mary, in celebration of the Gritería on December 7.
This call was announced by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, who stated that the inscriptions will take place from the first to the 30th of November, in the Directorate of Historical Heritage of the Municipality.
He also stated that the first three places in each district will be awarded, with 6 thousand cordobas for third place, 8 thousand cordobas for second place and 10 thousand cordobas for first place.
He announced that the contest will have three scoring parameters, the content or biblical theme and its adaptation to our reality in Nicaragua, the material used must be typical and traditional, as well as its creativity and originality.
