The Dignified Housing Program promoted by the Municipality with the support and solidarity of China (Taiwan), delivers two new houses in the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood of District II, which represent houses number 333 and 334.
With these decent homes, two families who were affected by the strong winds that occurred in this area of the capital, at midnight on September 16, benefit.
The protagonists Mireya Montalván and Hazel Midence Montalván received the keys to their new home from the Ambassador of China (Taiwan) Jaime Chin-Mu Wu and the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas, who highlighted the unconditional support of this brother country, in the restitution of rights of these 334 families that have been benefited throughout this love program promoted by the Government of Commander Daniel and Vice President Compañera Rosario Murillo.
Doña Mireya Montalván was very grateful to God and the authorities for having given an immediate response to her need.
"I thank God and our government for having blessed me with this home, now I feel safer," said the protagonist.
The other house always delivered in the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood belongs to Mrs. Hazel Midence, who in less than 20 days also received an immediate response from the authorities.
“We had really stayed on the street with the tornado that occurred on September 16, it was something that did not give any signs, suddenly it came and with great difficulty we could take refuge in the back, we are miraculously alive and now we are really very happy for our home, thanks to our good governance ”, said the beneficiary.
During the delivery ceremony, the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas, reaffirmed the municipal government's commitment to continue supporting low-income families.
For his part, the Ambassador of Taiwan in Managua, Jaime Chin-Mu Wu, assured that they will continue to support projects like this one, which allow families to change their lives for better conditions, with greater tranquility, security and dignity.
It should be noted that the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood is one of the most legendary communities in our Capital city, currently it has 2,525 homes and a population of 16,231 inhabitants; Therefore, this Dignified Housing Program has benefited 24 families in this neighborhood from 2013 to date.
