The Dignified Housing Program delivered on October 1, house number 332 in the La Zacatera sector of the Camilo Ortega neighborhood in District III, it was in this same neighborhood that the first housing delivery was made on October 15, 2018.
In this house 7 people will live together with the protagonist María Fanny Espinales, who for more than 12 years lived in a situation of vulnerability.
The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda, accompanied by the Ambassador of China (Taiwan), Mr. Jaime Chin-Mu Wu, when giving the protagonist her new home, highlighted the importance of how this project in two years has transformed the lives of more than 300 families.
“Thank God it is already number 332, as our friend Ambassador mentioned, we continue in Victorious October, delivering houses to transform the lives of families that for years have lived in situations of vulnerability such as in this area of La Zacatera del Camilo Ortega, it is a very difficult area, depending on the characteristics it has. We have had problems, both in storm drainage and in the streets of this neighborhood, ”explained the Mayor.
Rueda stressed that even when there are neighborhoods with difficult conditions, the Commune throughout the year made an effort to advance with all the annual investment projects.
“However, in these years, we have advanced a lot, through our investment plans, we have addressed what are road improvement and storm drainage, especially in the Camilo Ortega area, which is divided into six (zones) ; here we are in the Zacatera area. The Camilo Ortega is the largest neighborhood in the III district, after the San Judas neighborhood ”.
For his part, Ambassador Jaime Chin-Mu Wu, announced that in his country in the month of October, the month of the fatherland is celebrated.
“We are happy to be here delivering such a significant home for Mrs. Fanny's family, on this beautiful day, which in our country is celebrated the month of the fatherland, today we are witnesses as the Mayor's Office and the Government of President Ortega they built a dignified and safe house for Dona Fanny's family; with this house the family can have a dignified life, live with tranquility, with harmony, "said the diplomat.
Doña Fanny María Espinal, the protagonist of Casa Diga number 332, was very excited about her new home, a dream come true, after 12 years of living in her humble home.
“My little house was falling down, it was deteriorated, we got wet with the rain and suddenly the roof fell off; But first of all, thanks to our God, and to President Daniel Ortega and Compañera Vice President Rosario Murillo, we have this project of our little house that we can now live better, ”she commented excitedly.
