Family from the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood receives decent housing number 331

This Wednesday, September 30, dignified housing number 331 was delivered, which is built by the Good Government with the solidarity support of China (Taiwan), benefiting the family of Mrs. Norma María Moreira from the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood.

This new dignified home was inaugurated by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Deputy Mayor of Managua and Mr. Jaime Chin-Mu Wu, Ambassador of the Republic of Taiwan in Nicaragua, who handed over the keys to the new house to the protagonist, who expressed their gratitude to the authorities of the Good Government and the solidarity of the brotherly people and government of China (Taiwan), for the immediate attention provided at the time that he needed it most, due to the strong winds disrupting his humble abode of more than 50 years.

House 331 was built due to the emergency caused by strong winds, on September 16, which affected 111 houses in the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood, of which 108 were partially affected and 3 were totally damaged. It provided the support and the necessary attention, as part of the Citizen Power model, which promotes Good Government, led by Commander Daniel and Compañera Rosario Murillo.

It should be noted that the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood is one of the most legendary communities in our Capital city, currently it has 2,525 homes and a population of 16,231 inhabitants; Therefore, this Dignified Housing program has benefited 24 families in this neighborhood from 2013 to date.

Vice Mayor Enrique Armas said that 2 more decent homes are being built for the same number of families in this neighborhood, who suffered damages from the tornado.

The blessing of the house was carried out by Father Sebastián Zeledón, parish priest of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús church, in the Monseñor Lezcano neighborhood, who was happy with the solidarity works carried out by the Mayor's Office and government institutions, to improve the living conditions of the most needy families.
