This Sunday, September 27, families from the capital enjoyed the National Explosive 1/4 Mile Competition, an event that was organized by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua in coordination with the Automobile Federations and Associations.
This event counted with the participation of more than 100 pilots, in 9 participating categories, among them motor speed, bicycles, caoneras, motor racing and even heads.
This event, never seen before in Nicaragua, took place on Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez, in which many lovers of speed and adrenaline enjoyed this event that featured competitions and the presentation of exhibition vehicles, such as Josué Mendoza, driver of a super charged Chevrolet Convette C7 Z06, with which he made a presentation of laps and tire squeaking, which excited the attendees.
These competitions are held to reduce the illegal races that have caused many accidents and that now with these events become new recreational alternatives for families.
