Committed to improving the living conditions of capital families, the Good Government continues to carry out works for the common good throughout the municipality, including the 2020 Streets for the People Program, which for this year, the goal is to improve 737 blocks, of which, to date, 564 have been improved to advance the 77%, according to what was reported by comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, in a supervision of the Road Improvement Project of the Georgino Andrade neighborhood of District VII.
In this supervision visit, to the asphalt coating of the Georgino Andrade neighborhood, comrade Fidel Moreno expressed that this road improvement has a scope of 6 blocks that were previously in their natural state, which has an investment of 4 million 207 thousand 500 cordobas , benefiting 11,560 inhabitants of the area.
This work forms a new road corridor that connects the Pedro Aráuz Palacio, Georgino Andrade and Rubenia neighborhoods; in addition to a drainage work that will improve the conditions of the families that live next to the channel of the Pedro Aráuz Palacios neighborhood, which was a critical point due to flooding.
Likewise, comrade Fidel Moreno stated that in direct dialogue with the population, it was agreed to build 3 additional alleys in this community in District VII of Managua.
