In celebration of our national holidays, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua delivers 6 blocks of new streets to the families of the 14 de Febrero neighborhood, in District VI of the capital city.
This work for the common good was inaugurated by the Mayor of Managua, comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who announced that this Road Improvement Project is executed through the 2020 Streets for the People Program, which promotes Good Government, through the mayors of the Citizen Power.
Likewise, he expressed that this project is being carried out to respond to the demand of the residents of this community manifested in the town councils and community assemblies.
The work consisted of paving 6 blocks of streets with asphalt, directly benefiting 1,165 inhabitants of the sector, with an investment of 1,400,000 córdobas.
It was also announced that the Streets for the People 2020 Program has invested almost 60 million córdobas in District VI, benefiting the population of 13 neighborhoods in this district of the capital, including the Carlos Núñez, Jorge Cassaly neighborhood. , Villa Reconciliation North and South, Villa Israel, South East Canada, Concepción de María, Jorge Salazar, Camilo Chamorro and now the 14 de Febrero neighborhood is added.
In addition to the Streets for the People Program in District VI, another 12 road improvement and storm drainage projects are being carried out through the 2020 Annual Investment Program with an investment of more than 12 million córdobas.
