In greeting to the national holidays and without stopping our work, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua continues to deliver works for the common good to the families of the capital. This Wednesday, September 16, in the Batahola Sur neighborhood of District II, 3 blocks of paved streets were delivered, which were in their natural state, with which the living conditions of the families living in the sector are improved.
This work of the common good whose investment is 683 thousand 947 córdobas, consists of improving the road infrastructure of the neighborhood, helping to improve the surface drainage of the sector, thus eliminating waterlogging in 5 homes in this community.
The road improvement project was inaugurated and delivered to the families of the sector by comrade Enrique Armas Rosales, Vice Mayor of Managua, who stated that to date the 2020 Streets for the People Program is advancing in a 75% with the construction and repair of 534 blocks (plus the 3 that are delivered this Wednesday) of the 737 scheduled to be executed this year.
Likewise, he highlighted that in the Batahola community, in the last 5 years, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power carried out various projects for road improvement and storm drainage, including the inauguration of the road improvement in this sector, with a million-dollar investment.
