During the inauguration of the new home of the Durán family, the Vice Mayor of Managua Enrique Armas reiterated the commitment of the Central Government to change the lives of families living in situations of vulnerability and highlighted that the Dignified Housing Program has built in this neighborhood 19 houses more.

Wendy Durán, along with her husband and their 4 children, lived for 25 years in their previous house, which was made of zinc and every time it rained, the water was poured into their home.
