Managuas buy cheaper at the Market Discounts Festival

Traders at the Israel Lewites Market continue to organize to ensure the success of the discount fairs at this shopping center.

The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda explained that complying with the strategies directed by the Central Government to keep the markets well supplied, the municipal authorities work in coordination with the merchants and the Ministry of Health (Minsa) to ensure that consumers visit the markets in a safe environment, with all protection measures to avoid outbreaks of disease.

Rueda stressed that the best place to buy basic food basket products and perishables are the markets because they offer affordable prices for Nicaraguan families.

In the Israel Lewites market you can buy bags of tomatoes and onions from 20 cordobas, a pound of potatoes at 10 and 12 cordobas, a pound of cheese at 38 and beans at 18 cordobas per pound.
