As part of the support for sport in its different disciplines, the Good Government through the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated, this Tuesday, August 11, the second Taekwondo Academy, located in the Roberto Huembes market gym, which will attend to children and adolescents between the ages of 8 and 17.
This academy was inaugurated by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas, who explained that due to the great demand of students, this new sports school was opened in which children and adolescents from Districts IV, V, VI and VII of Managua will be able to attend; He also stated that taekwondo classes are totally free.
For his part, the teacher Salvador Zavala, President of the Nicaraguan Federation of Taekwondo expressed that these academies, located in the Alexis Argüello Sports Center and now in the Roberto Huembes market gym, is part of the growth of this sports discipline, which in recent years Over the years he has gained a lot of support, winning medals in international tournaments.
