This Wednesday, August 5, Dignified Housing number 317 was delivered, in the Las Sierritas de Santo Domingo region, improving living conditions to the family of Mrs. Silvia de los Ángeles Rodríguez Maltez, who for many years lived in precarious conditions together her 5 children, so she was happy with her new home.
This work is part of the Dignified Housing Program promoted by Good Government, through the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua with the support and solidarity of the brotherly people and government of China (Taiwan); This new home was inaugurated and handed over to the main family by Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Mayor of Managua, together with Mr. Iván Lo, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of Taiwan in Nicaragua.
The Mayor stated that the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, in the last 9 years has built 12 decent homes, benefiting the same number of families in this community of District V, in which 4,628 people live, distributed in a little more of 396 homes.
He also highlighted that in the last 5 years, the Municipality has invested 4 million 410 thousand córdobas in this community, in the road improvement of 480 linear meters of hydraulic concrete and the reworking of 116 linear meters of streets with an investment of 939 thousand 600 cordobas.
He expressed that this year 2020 the Annual Investment Plan (PIA) in District V, contemplates the execution of 14 storm drainage and road improvement projects, in addition to the Streets for the People Program, with an investment of 45 million cordobas.
