The earthworks in the second stage of Villa Jerusalen have begun, as confirmed by the Secretary General, Fidel Moreno during a tour of the area where another block of 500 low-income homes will be built through the Bismarck Martínez Program.
He also explained that the bidding process for the new stage will begin in the second half of August and at the end of September, the first 100 houses will be delivered.
"We are on the land where the dirt road and all the urbanization works are being enabled for the new tender that we will be starting at the end of this month, where 500 additional houses will be built, we also have 120 additional houses in process in different construction processes ”.
Moreno explained that the Bismarck Martínez project in Villa Jerusalen plans to build 3,000 houses of social interest and with this second stage, a thousand protagonists would be benefiting this year.
"We aspire to restore the right to decent housing to no less than 3,000 families in this area, the project includes all the necessary infrastructure to guarantee a dignified and comprehensive life with education, health, parks, recreation areas, recreation Likewise, water and sanitation, public lighting, street improvements, in short, all the conditions that an urbanization requires and needs so that we can restore the right to housing to families, ”Moreno explained.
At the end of 2020, the Municipality plans to deliver a little more than 1,000 homes and in 2021 the remaining 2,000, to complete the 3,000 homes that Villa Jerusalen will have. Moreno explained that these new constructions will have larger land, due to the requests of the interested parties.
“We are preparing land ranging from 160 to 200 square yards. The house has 54 square meters that includes two bedrooms, bathroom, living room, laundry area outside, as announced by Commander President Daniel and Compañera Rosario, we hope to complete in the next few years to no less than 50 thousand additional homes, to which we have only built from 2019 to 2020 and by 2021 our government will have completed the delivery of 33 thousand urbanized lots ".
Upon completion of the 3,000 houses in Villa Jerusalen, approximately 15,000 people will live. At this time, the project generates 300 jobs, but in the coming months it will have 1,000 direct jobs, reaching 4,000 jobs in 2021.
