40 kilometers from the Nicaraguan capital, is the urban area of Villa El Carmen, a municipality in the department of Managua, which has 27 kilometers of beach, archaeological sites, agroecological farms and recreational centers, in which prevention measures are implemented against the Covid-19, to guarantee the safety of visiting families.
Comrade Marisol López Méndez, Vice Mayor of Villa El Carmen invited Nicaraguan families to visit this municipality that houses different spaces for family recreation, where they can go hiking, go into nature, as well as sun and beach destinations; He also highlighted that coordination is being carried out with institutions and owners of establishments to take all the prevention measures recommended by the Ministry of Health (MINSA) in the face of this pandemic.
An interesting place to visit is the Río Lodoso Silvestre Reserve Archaeological site, where you can enter nature and see a variety of petroglyphs from 1500 to 500 years before Christ and which are located 4 kilometers from the urban area of this municipality.
Among the beach destinations, there is the Rancho de Diego on San Diego beach that offers bar and restaurant services, cabins, board rental and surf lessons, as well as the temacal, which is a sauna used by our American ancestors. so its owner Diego Glover invited families to visit this place to watch the sunset and enjoy these coasts that are 45 minutes from the capital.
For his part, comrade Manuel Marenco, INTUR Departmental Tourist Promoter, highlighted that 20 tourist companies are located in this municipality that are located on the routes of Ecotourism Farm and the Pacific Coast, which have beauties of flora and fauna, as well as, adventure, sun and beach.
