Fulfilling the dream of our heroes and martyrs of guaranteeing and promoting sport in the new generations, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua delivered sports supplies to the Children's Baseball Academy located in the Jorge Dimitrov neighborhood field.
The parents of the baseball players' families in this sports academy expressed their gratitude to the Sandinista government for supporting sports, which guarantees recreation, health and good habits for children, which are the basis for a better future.
The delivery of the sports supplies was presided over by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas, and comrade Noel González, Sports Director of the Capital Commune, who stated that this is the first of the 2 deliveries of equipment that the Municipality makes to the Children's Baseball Academies administered by the Managua Mayor's Office.
Likewise, comrade Noel González said that the Children's Baseball Academy of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua is made up of 11 sports schools in different areas of the capital, with the participation of more than 800 sports children.
