In greeting to the 41st anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua carried out removal and rehabilitation works of the sports field of the Nejapa region, where the Municipality invests an amount greater than 600 thousand cordobas, in support of the sports and healthy recreation for families in the capital.
The progress of this ornamental work was supervised by the Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas, who said that in this sports field, cleaning, construction of platforms, earthenware and boards of the basketball court are carried out, as well as the installation of 95 linear meters of the perimeter mesh, the rehabilitation of luminaires and painting in general in the public infrastructure.
Likewise, colleague Noel González, Director of Sports of the Municipality expressed that it is being analyzed that in the coming months, the Children's Baseball Academy number 11 of the capital will open in this sports field, as part of the promotion of sports and training of new national baseball prospects.
