Three families affected by rains receive their new house

As part of the immediate response, provided by the Good Government to the families affected by the rains, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua built 3 decent houses in the Oscar Turcios neighborhood.

These 3 new decent homes represent the 295, 296 and 297 that the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua is building with the support of China (Taiwan) from the end of October 2018 to date, which benefit the families of the protagonists Martha Lissette Reyes, Nimian Yamileth Cano and Mrs. Nimia Reyes on behalf of their son Ricardo Reyes, who received the keys to their new home from Mayor Reyna Rueda and Mrs. Irma Chen, Minister Counselor of the Embassy of China (Taiwan) in Nicaragua .

The Mayor stated that these families were affected by the rains of June 3, which caused the overflow of a segment of the eastern channel and caused temporary flooding in 41 homes in the area, which severely damaged these 3 homes, which were completely rebuilt. .

Likewise, he announced that the Oscar Turcios neighborhood, is located in District IV of Managua, has 229 homes and a population of 1 thousand 472 inhabitants; In this community, the Good Government has built 36 homes since 2009 to date, to which are added 3, for a total of 39 decent homes.

Similarly, he stated that in this capital neighborhood, the Municipality has executed 4 projects for road improvement and storm drainage in the last 5 years, with an investment of 12 million córdobas; He also indicated that for this year 2020, the PIA of District IV contemplates the execution of 12 projects, of which 2 are for road improvement and 10 for storm drainage, with an investment of 10 million córdobas, more than 5 neighborhoods that are served with the "Streets for the People" Program with an investment of 15 million córdobas.
