The Mayor's Office of Managua announced this Saturday, June 13, the beginning of the renovation day of 120 community parks in the capital city, as part of the dignity of public spaces for family recreation and honoring the memory of our heroes and martyrs in the 41st anniversary of the triumph of the Sandinista Popular Revolution.
This launch of the day of renovation, was announced from the park of the Primero de Mayo neighborhood, where the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda, together with young people from the Guardabarranco Environmental Movement, carried out the reforestation of this space for family recreation.
Likewise, Mayor Reyna Rueda indicated that the Municipality has a public infrastructure of 334 family recreation spaces, of which 223 are parks and the Municipality will invest 21 million 600 thousand córdobas, for the total removal of 18 and the maintenance of 102 parks from the capital city.
In the same way, he added that the maintenance of squares, fields and monuments will be carried out, as part of the ornamentation of the capital; in addition to the days of cleaning and disinfection in these public spaces.
