Good Government provides assistance to families affected by rains

As part of the accompaniment to the families affected by the rains and in response to immediate attention to their needs, the authorities of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua continued, on the afternoon of this Friday, June 5, supervising and evaluating the effects of the last rains.
During the tour, the damage that occurred in the fourth stage of the Hialeah neighborhood was visited, where a slope collapsed that gave way to the rains and affected a house inhabited by an elderly couple of 70 and 82 years of age, who were given care immediate, through the organized community and the Municipality that will carry out an emergency work with the construction of a gabion wall and then carry out the definitive work in November when winter ends; in addition to the construction of decent housing and improving the conditions of the access road to this sector of the community.

Likewise, the Óscar Turcios and Enrique Smith neighborhood of District IV was visited, where on Wednesday June 3, immediate assistance was provided to 41 families in the sector who suffered temporary flooding and caused severe damage to 4 homes, which are being rebuilt with the Dignified Housing Program, so the site was visited to supervise the progress in the construction of the same.

The benefited families expressed their gratitude for the immediate and supportive care provided by the Good Government, as expressed by Mrs. Nimia Cano of the Óscar Turcios neighborhood, who thanked the support provided by the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power and the Cabinets of the Families from the outset, Don Santiago Muñoz and Mrs. María Zamora from the Hialeah neighborhood also demonstrated.
