This tour was led by comrade Fidel Moreno, Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of Managua, who indicated that the rain this afternoon was concentrated in the sector of kilometer 8 and 12 of the highway to Masaya, where 81 millimeters of water fell in a period of 12 minutes, causing overflow in part of the channel transferring the highway to Masaya transversal channel, which affected 29 homes in the Enrique Smith neighborhood and 12 in the Óscar Turcios neighborhood located in District IV of the capital, as well as minor effects in other points Township.
In the preliminary report, 200 affected people are counted who are being cared for by the Promotoría Solidaria; In addition, serious damage was evaluated in 3 houses that will be rebuilt with the Dignified Housing Program.
