"Streets for the People" advances in the Carlos Núñez neighborhood

On the morning of this Tuesday, May 26, comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua, made an evaluation visit to the paving of 5 blocks of new streets in the Carlos Núñez Téllez neighborhood of District VI of the capital. .

These 5 paved blocks are streets that were previously totally on land, which have an investment of 2.5 million córdobas and are part of the "Streets for the People" Program, which promotes Good Government, in the capital city, reaching up to the date 330 improved blocks throughout the municipality, which represents a little more than the 43% of those that will be built in this year 2020.

This work, which directly benefits 1,700 people in the Carlos Núñez neighborhood, works as an alternative route to the northern highway, because these streets communicate internally with the neighborhoods in the area.

Likewise, it was announced that in addition to this road improvement, the Municipality has executed 5 more projects in recent years, with an investment that exceeds 12 million cordobas.
