This week, the fourth cycle of the disinfection day of the capital markets is concluded, as was announced by comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, who on Wednesday supervised the execution of this plan of action from the market Carlos Roberto Huembes.
Comrade Fidel Moreno said that a workforce of 400 workers from the Mayor's Office of Managua, the Ministry of Health (MINSA), the Managua Municipal Market Corporation (COMMEMA) and the National Police participate in these disinfection sessions, accompanying all this effort to clean and disinfect the almost 25 thousand commercial sections existing in the 8 capital markets and combat the pandemic, as well as other diseases that may occur in these places of great influx of people.
He also stated that disinfection work will continue to be carried out in urban transport units, both buses and taxis, and in public spaces in general, in order to reduce the risk of contagion and contribute to the public health of Nicaraguan families.
