The capital markets offer solidarity prices in the products of the basic basket, perishable and derived from milk, confirmed the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda in a tour carried out this Friday by El Mayoreo.
Merchants, aware of their fundamental role in boosting the country's economy, remain committed to guaranteeing affordable prices and health security in their sections, to protect the health of buyers, their families and workers from the threat of Covid-19 .
Mayor Reyna Rueda together with the merchants assured that low prices are offered and disease prevention measures are implemented.
"Our markets continue to boost the country's economy, the merchant brothers not only have the sections well supplied with products, they are also applying all the satin hygiene measures directed by the Minsa, so that families can come to buy safely ”.
Rueda also stressed that there are discounts of up to 40 percent for people who are already looking for a gift for Mom, this coming May 30.
For her part, Mrs. Sandra Morales, who has been selling perishables in this market for 20 years, confirmed that the prices of perishables remain only lemon and pineapple, but it is due to the lack of rain in the country.
"Here in the Wholesale you can buy a pound of potatoes at 15 córdobas, tomatoes and onions from 20 córdobas, and if they are pork and chicken, the prices are maintained and thank God, we are certified by the Minsa that all our areas are clean and for our customers' safety, we are disinfecting the market every Thursday starting at 5:00 in the afternoon, here we are very careful with that and we all take care of ourselves ”.
