The inhabitants of the Gertrudis Arias and December 31 neighborhoods celebrated this Thursday the inauguration of the road improvement of the main street of these communities located in District VI of the capital city.
This work of the common good was inaugurated and delivered to the community, by the comrade Reyna Rueda, Mayor of the Citizen Power of Managua, who stated that this road improvement consisted of the paving of 8 blocks of new street with asphalt layer, through the Program "Streets for the People" 2020, which for this year plans to serve 737 blocks throughout the municipality.
Likewise, he announced that this project connects the Sabana Grande and Larreynaga tracks, through these neighborhoods of District VI, directly benefiting 2,237 inhabitants of the area, with an investment of 3 million 437 thousand 500 cordobas.
The opening ceremony was developed taking the preventive measures directed by the Ministry of Health (MINSA), through the disinfection of the place, the placement of masks and chairs with prudential space, to guarantee the public health of the families of the community.
