Four disinfected markets in Managua

On the afternoon of this Thursday, May 7, a new disinfection day was held in 4 of the 8 municipal markets of the capital, as part of the preventive measures against COVID-19 and other diseases.

These disinfection days are actions guided by the Good Government of Commander Daniel Ortega that take place in public spaces with a large concentration of people, through an inter-institutional team, made up of the Ministry of Health (MINSA), Municipality, National Police and the organized community.

The markets attended this Thursday were Róger Deshon from the San Judas neighborhood, Israel Lewites, Leonel Gutiérrez or the Candelaria market and the Jonathan González or Peripheral market.

This day was supervised by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who stated that this work is carried out with operators and machinery to develop cleaning and waste evacuation, in addition to the fumigation of sections, platforms, handrails, gates and walls, guaranteeing an effective disinfection of these public spaces.
