New streets for families in the Villa Libertad Annex

With a cultural gala of Nicaraguan folklore and encouraged by the mischief of clowns and face painting, families from the Villa Libertad Annex neighborhood inaugurated 10 new paved blocks by the "Streets for the People 2020" Program, benefiting 14,227 protagonists, with an investment of 4 million 285 thousand 980 córdobas.

The Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, upon delivering the work for the common good, announced that the "Streets for the People" Program will benefit five more neighborhoods in this District.

"We continue to fulfill the mandate of Commander Daniel and our Vice President Rosario Murillo, we continue to improve the living conditions of the families who live in this neighborhood, we already have 10 totally new blocks that come to eliminate the dust and that guarantee a better circulation of vehicles through the area, but the benefits do not end here, also the neighborhoods of Villa Venezuela, Sabana Grande and Manuel Fernández, will be benefited with "Streets for the People."

Mrs. Mercedes Pérez, a resident of the neighborhood, celebrates that the new streets will allow everyone a better circulation.

"I have 35 years of living here and when it rained this was a disaster, we waited years to see this dream, thank God they remembered us only the Commander could change that, now they are going to see all the older adults doing their walks in the late and that was impossible before ”.

The 2020 “Streets for the People” Program will serve 737 new network blocks, with an investment of 246.5 million córdobas.
