As of this Monday, the "Streets for the People" Program began the lining of 860 linear meters with asphalt, which is equivalent to 10 new blocks in the San Isidro de la Cruz Verde region in District I of the Capital.
This Road Improvement Project directly benefits a little more than 6 thousand inhabitants, with an investment of 7 million 86 thousand 750 córdobas.
The Vice Mayor of Managua, Enrique Armas, explained that these 10 new blocks of road network will become an alternate route that connects Las Sierras de Santo Domingo with San Isidro, users in the area will be able to travel to Villa Fontana in the shortest possible time , the 10 blocks will be ready next weekend.
“We are happy because with this new section of road we will link the San Isidro region to the Santo Domingo obelisk, this street will become a very important alternative route, because all the people who live in Las Sierras or in the new urbanizations that exist on the route, they will be able to reach Villa Fontana and other neighboring sectors in less time ”.
The coating process began this Monday, May 5 and will be ready next weekend.
Mrs. Belinda Gómez has lived in the region for 45 years and she explained that with this project, the community will rest from the dust and the great currents.
“Thank God they remembered us, with this project we all come out winning because those of us who live here and do not have a car are going to rest from the dusty dust and those who have cars, will circulate faster and in better conditions because the street will be no holes all the time ”.
