Authorities supervise sanitary drainage works in Villa Guadalupe

Committed to guaranteeing a future with well-being for capital families, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua continues to carry out works for the common good, including the Villa Guadalupe Sanitary Improvement Project in District II of Managua, which will change living conditions to a little more than 1 thousand families in this sector.

This May 1st, this project was supervised by comrade Fidel Moreno Briones, Secretary General of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, who explained that this work will expand the sanitary drainage system by eliminating the overflow of sewage through the streets of this community, which currently causes discomfort and unhealthiness for the families that live in the area.

This work consists of the construction of a new collector and the expansion of the pipes and visitor wells of this sanitary drainage, of which some 3,000 homes in Villa Guadalupe and neighboring sectors are connected. Similarly, it was announced that this project for the common good has an investment of 2,500,000 córdobas, which began to be built 2 weeks ago and is expected to be completed in the next 60 days.

For their part, the population of the sector expressed their satisfaction with this project, which is very necessary for the well-being of the community, as expressed by Mrs. Ana Julia Rodríguez and Mr. Carlos Rivas, inhabitants of one of the affected streets that will receive the benefit of this sanitary drainage project.
