Sanitary Drainage Project in La Primavera Annex is 40 percent complete

The Managua Mayor's Office in coordination with the Nicaraguan Company of Sanitary Aqueducts and Sewers (ENACAL) are building a sanitary network in the La Primavera Annex neighborhood of District VI.

The Sanitary Drainage Project will benefit 1,566 families directly and has an investment of 37 million córdobas.

The Secretary General of the Commune, Fidel Moreno explained that the project is 40 percent complete and it will build a little more than 7 kilometers of sanitary pipes and 100 manholes.

The project will be ready in mid-September and is the number 9 to be carried out in the neighborhood consecutively.

Moreno reported that only 52 million córdobas have been invested in the stabilization and lining of the La Primavera riverbed in its 6 stages.
