Following the guidelines of the Good Government and the World Health Organization (WHO) and as part of the prevention actions against the coronavirus and other diseases, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua carried out the day of disinfection of the 1,400 commercial sections from the Israel Lewites market.
This day consisted of cleaning and fumigation of sections, gates, platforms, benches and door handles, actions that guarantee the disinfection of this capital market.
The disinfection was supervised by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who said that 80 human resources participated in this session, divided into cleaning and fumigation brigades that guarantee the disinfection of the market; actions to strengthen preventive measures, in accordance with the recommendations made by the WHO.
