Committed to modernizing and expanding the road network of the capital city, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua continues to execute the "Streets for the People" Program for the year 2020, which plans to build and improve 737 blocks in the different pavement modalities.
This Easter Tuesday, the execution of one of the components of the "Streets for the People" program was supervised, which takes place in the René Cisneros neighborhood of District I, where 3 blocks of streets were paved with asphalt, with an investment, a little less than 2 million córdobas, directly benefiting 8 thousand 70 inhabitants of the sector, who expressed their gratitude to the management of Good Government.
Likewise, it was announced that, with this road work, the 97% of the paved streets of this capital neighborhood is reached.
This road improvement program has a total investment of 246.5 million córdobas, to build 70.63 blocks of hydraulic concrete and 75 new blocks of asphalt; in addition to the asphalt coating in 354.57 blocks, the paving of 24 blocks and the execution of the patching plan in 213 blocks of the road network.
