In the Ordinary Session number 26 of the Managua Council, the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda expressed that as a Municipal Government, they have the express responsibility of attending to the capital's families through the cleaning of our city; Therefore, the Public Cleaning Directorate is prepared to keep our municipality clean and prevent the proliferation of COVID 19 infection foci and the reproduction of vectors that cause other diseases such as dengue and leptospirosis.
Likewise, he expressed that it is also the responsibility of the Municipality to abide by the recommendations made by the National Government, chaired by Commander Daniel and Vice President Rosario Murillo, through the governing body that is the Ministry of Health (MINSA), following the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Mayor Rueda announced that the councilors have worked as health promoters, supporting these educational days from house to house, in prevention and protection against COVID 19, which is directed by the Ministry of Health.
He ended by reporting on the 132 telephone line, so that families can communicate if they have doubts about the coronavirus, at the same time, he recommended Nicaraguan families to abide by the recommendations issued by the MINSA.
