At a press conference, the Nicaraguan Youth Association and the Mayor's Office of Citizen Power of Managua announced the first national quarter-mile automobile competition, to be held this Sunday, February 16, on Avenida de Bolívar a Chávez.
More than 100 modified and racing cars will participate in this event, in 14 different categories, which will compete from the traffic lights of the Chancellery to the Hugo Chávez roundabout.
The organizing committee informed that the competition will begin at 7:00 am and will last all morning, they also indicated that the entrance to the spectators will be free; so they invited Nicaraguan families to enjoy this sporting event.
The conference was held in the Loma de Tiscapa, where the competitors expressed that they will give their best to give a good show to the attendees of this sporting competition.
