Colloquium on the Protection and Conservation of the Cultural Heritage of Managua

In celebration of the 168th anniversary of Managua being elevated to the Capital of the Republic, a colloquium was held on the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of the Nicaraguan capital.

This colloquium was organized by the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua, in which presentations were made on cultural heritage, as well as the presentation of works for its conservation.

This activity was chaired by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Mayor of Managua, who expressed the commitment of Good Government in the conservation of tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

This colloquium was attended by the writer Francisco Bautista, the journalist Manuel Espinoza and the teacher René González Mejía, President of the Nicaraguan Institute of Hispanic Culture.

During the event, the act of creation of the group of Friends for the Cultural Heritage of Managua was signed, made up of various personalities from the cultural, social and political sphere of the capital city.
