The municipal authorities in coordination with the National Government and the Leonel Rugama Cultural Movement, summoned the young generation of poets and writers who wish to be part of the book "Palpitar Poético Urbano" in its second edition.
This contest is part of the Darianas 2020 activities from Darío to Sandino that is held throughout the country, in commemoration of the 153rd anniversary of the birth of the Prince of Castilian Letters, Rubén Darío Sarmiento.
Vice Mayor Enrique Armas explained that all participants must present their writings starting this Wednesday, January 22.
"We call men and women of letters, the young generation of writers and poets who wish to be part of the second edition of the book Palpitar Poético Urbano to participate with their works to enrich and strengthen the development of Nicaraguan literature," he said. Weapons: The book is dedicated to the story and the narrative, based on the theme of the Revolution and promotes the development of Nicaraguan literature.
Donaldo Aguirre, deputy director of the Rubén Darío National Theater, explained that those interested must be over 18 years of age and residents of the capital.
"Each author must present a maximum of two unpublished writings, these must have the literary structure indicated for the story, the narrative and the essay, the participants must take their works in physical and digital in a memory, to the Directorate of Culture of the Mayor's Office of Managua in Module H, accompanied by a portfolio with their biographical data, copy of identity card, address and email, ”Aguirre explained.
The call is open from January 22 to February 19 and the book that will have "The Revolution" as its theme, will be presented on February 26.
