In attention to the families that live in areas vulnerable to rain and committed to eliminating critical points due to flooding, the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua inaugurated a road improvement work and storm drainage in the Germán Pomares neighborhood.
This work for the common good consisted of the construction of a bridge box and 100 linear meters of lined riverbed; which contributes directly to improving the lives of 39 families in the sector that were previously flooded by the rain currents.
This project for restitution of rights was inaugurated and delivered to the community by comrade Reyna Rueda Alvarado, Mayor of Managua, who announced that this work was important to eliminate one of the critical flood points in District V.
"These are works that have brought well-being and emotional stability to families, and this has been thanks to the political will of our Government, Commander Daniel, and our vice president, Comrade Rosario," said Rueda.
The inhabitants of the Germán Pomares neighborhood were happy with this project that was delivered in this special and joyous month.
"This project has been of great benefit to all the residents, because before, years ago, our homes were flooded," said Delfa Cardoza, a protagonist of the neighborhood, who also expressed her gratitude to the Mayor of Managua and to President Daniel Ortega and to the Compañera Rosario for this work of progress that totally changed the neighborhood.[vc_images_carousel images=”26033,26034,26035,26036,26037,26038,26039,26040,26041,26042,26043,26044,26045,26046,26047,26048″ img_size=”large”]
