The First 3 × 3 Latin American Mini Basketball Festival concludes

Nicaragua reached third place in the U-12 Latin American Basketball Tournament, which took place in Managua with the participation of 9 teams from 6 Latin American nations.

The first place in this Latin American Basketball Tournament was reached by the Costa Rican team that contested it with Mexico, which came in second place, with a score of 14 to 11 points.

In this tournament, in addition to the gold, silver and bronze medals for the 3 finalist teams, the 2-point leader was awarded, which went to the Nicaraguan Harold Barberena and the leading scorer of the tournament, achieved by the Nicaraguan Deo Down and the player Most valuable of the tournament was the Costa Rican Daniel Arias.

In this sporting event, the Vice Mayor expressed the Good Government's commitment to continue supporting sport, something that has been expressed with the various national and international tournaments held this year, in different sports disciplines.

He also highlighted the recognition given by FIBA, which has constantly endorsed the international tournaments that have been held at the Alexis Argüello Sports Center in Managua.
