The qualifying jury of the XI Edition of the Contest The Most Beautiful Altar of La Gritería is presented

The Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua presented the qualifying jury for the 11th contest for the most beautiful altar in La Gritería in honor of the Immaculate Conception of María in the Nicaraguan capital.

This qualifying jury is made up of 14 members, who will be divided into pairs to visit the 200 participating altars, so far, in the eleventh edition of this contest; These judges will visit the altars on December 7, the day the traditional Gritería is celebrated.

The judges of this contest were sworn in by Mayor Reyna Rueda Alvarado, who expressed the commitment of the Good Government to promote these activities, which promote and strengthen the conservation of our beliefs and traditions, making an essential contribution to all our religiosity and devotion that we feel towards our Blessed Mother.

For his part, comrade Clemente Guido, Director of Historical Heritage, announced that the contest will award the first 3 places for each district, which will be delivered a week before Christmas, with 9 thousand córdobas for the first places, 7 thousand córdobas to the second and 5 thousand cordobas to the third places, for which the Municipality will allocate 147 thousand cordobas in prizes, for the winners of the entire municipality.

He also said that the contest will be evaluated under different parameters, including the use of national articles, the use of biblical and peace messages, as well as its originality; For this reason, he also made a call to the families that celebrate the Gritería that they can register until December 6 at the offices of Historical Heritage of the Mayor's Office of Managua.
