Managua host of the National Rugby Tournament 7 Guardabarranco

In the Olympic stadium of the Nicaraguan Sports Institute, the Rugby 7 tournament was held, in which 8 teams from Managua, Granada, Tola and San Juan del Sur participated.

This event, which takes place all morning and afternoon this Sunday, November 10, was organized by the Managua Rugby Association with the support of the Good Government, through the Capital City Hall.

In this event, the president of the Managua Rugby Association, Eugenio Castillo, thanked the support provided by the Good Government, for the realization of this tournament.

For his part, comrade Noel González, Sports Director of the Mayor's Office of the Citizen Power of Managua expressed the commitment of the Good Government in supporting sports and stressed that Rugby is a sport that has been developing in recent years and that It has achieved good results, an example of this was in the 2017 Central American Games that reached a bronze medal.

In this tournament, 12 teams participated in both genders from 8 clubs, including ULUA, Managua Rugby, Piratas de San Juan del Sur and Chorotegas.
