The Vice Mayor of the Citizen Power of Managua, Enrique Armas Rosales, championed the U-14 basketball teams, who will represent us in the Central American Championship, which will take place at the Alexis Argüello Sports Center from November 6 to 10.
Mr. Róger Tórrez, delegate of the national basketball teams and who also championed the young athletes, said that this sport has been developing in recent years and highlighted the support that Good Government provides to sport in its different disciplines.
Likewise, colleague Armas Rosales expressed that there are many expectations in achieving the first places in this tournament, due to the support that has been provided to the sport in recent years.
He also highlighted the great support provided by the Sandinista government to the development of the sport, proof of this is that in the capital, international tournaments such as the Central American Volleyball, the Pan American Boxing, the Central American Motocross, have been held in recent weeks. the NORCECA beach volleyball, as well as national events, including the moto-speed competition, cycling, futsal and mixed martial arts.
