At the Alexis Argüello Sports Center in the city of Managua, the thirteenth Men's Under-19 Central American Volleyball Championship was inaugurated, with the participation of the teams of Honduras, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Belize and Nicaragua as the host country.
This Central American Championship was inaugurated by the engineer Bertha Cuadra, President of the Nicaraguan Volleyball Federation and Jennifer Porras, Secretary of the Managua Council, who expressed that the promotion of sport is a priority for Good Government, which can be verified in the modern sports infrastructure that the Sandinista government has built in recent years.
For her part, the engineer Bertha Cuadra thanked the Good Government for the support they provide to the sport in its different disciplines, something very important for the realization of this volleyball event.
This tournament takes place from Tuesday, October 29 to Saturday, November 2 at the modern facilities of the Alexis Argüello Sports Center.
The first 3 tournament games were between the teams of Costa Rica and Belices, then Honduras and El Salvador, followed by the opening game that was at 7 pm, between Nicaragua and Guatemala.
