In the exercise of direct democracy and citizen power, through interaction with the community, the capital Commune held this Tuesday, October 22, the consultative council with residents of District 4, to present the Draft of the General Budget of Income and Expenditure of the Municipality for the year 2020.
This Municipal Budget Draft has a projection of 600 Million 547 Thousand 615 Córdobas, for District 4, which will be invested in the execution of 27 projects for road improvement and storm drainage, through the Infrastructure Directorate and the District Delegation ; 9 environmental projects and 30 human development projects and programs; in addition to maintenance and public cleaning works.
Among the projects proposed to improve the living conditions of the families of District 4, the lining of the IV stage of the Domitila Lugo riverbed, the reworking of streets in the Venezuela and Primero de Mayo neighborhoods, rehabilitation of the Cinco Héroes Cubanos park stand out. and that of the María Auxiliadora neighborhood, as well as the improvement of rain drainage in the Bello Horizonte and Maestro Gabriel neighborhoods, the construction of pedestrian platforms in the Pedro Joaquín Chamorro neighborhood, in the El Paraisito neighborhood, among other works for the common good.
It should be noted that the proposals for these projects presented were built in consensus and as part of direct and constant communication with the community of the 39 neighborhoods of District 4 of the capital city.
