This 79-year-old man became the protagonist 177 of the Love and Solidarity Program executed by the Municipality, thanks to the ties of brotherhood of the peoples and Governments of Nicaragua and China (Taiwan).
The keys to the new home were handed over by the Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda, and the Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy (Taiwan), Mr. Iván Lu, to the protagonist José Raúl Padilla, who had already lived in a deteriorated house about to collapse, in the San Judas Sector 3-A neighborhood.
"I feel very happy, because the Government saw my need and helped me, they came and took photos and in eight days they built my house," said the protagonist who worked as a blacksmith since he was young.
The Mayor of Managua, Reyna Rueda, stated that she was happy with the house of Mr. José Raúl, "it is house number 177 that we have delivered and in the San Judas sector we have delivered number 8. We are happy celebrating with Mr. José this restitution of rights" Wheel said.
For his part, the Minister Counselor of the Embassy of China (Taiwan), expressed the willingness of his Government to continue supporting this project that brings tranquility and security to the most needy families in Nicaragua.
During the act of delivery of housing, the Municipality carried out a day of medical attention to families and the free delivery of medicines. There was also a cultural and recreational activity for the kings of the home, who enjoyed a clown show, face painting and piñatas.
